Beste Skepp Forum

Waar zij mee bezig is, is in mijn opinie gewoon fout!

Kwalijke zaak, zo'n secte !

Toevallig stuitte ik op deze tekst :

"[Cults] prey on the most lonely, vulnerable people they can find, cage you with your own mind through guilt and fear, cut you off from everyone...they don't need armed guards to keep you. Liars, tricksters, it's been the same ever since Eve got the apple, and I doubt it will ever change. They're all basically, really the same, con men. " -- Margaret Singer, Ph.D.

What is a cult and how dose it work? There are many definitions of what a cult is. Dr. Margaret Thaler Singer's a psychologist and expert on how cults work. According to Dr. Singer, characteristics from,Cults in Our Midst,(pages 6-10), there are three

1. Self-appointed messianic leader(s) who focuses followers’ veneration upon his or her, claims, and exercises to have a special mission in life, and has autocratic control over members’ lives.

2. Use of deception and misrepresentation for purposes of recruitment, retention and fund-raising.

3. Techniques aimed at controlling individual thought and personal privacy that frequently lead to a coerced reconstitution of personality.

1. How Elfpath started and the role of the leader(s) A) Cult leaders are self-appointed, persuasive persons who claim to have a special mission in life or to have special knowledge.

N. Angel Knoth speaks through the head teacher of Elfpath's, Minke Langhof who uses the alias 'Rohaa'. The two admit meeting on the internet. Minke and Knoth both online through Brint. It was Brint's idea to start a meta-intuitive school. They set up “Angel and he had an agreement that Angel had the last word on anything related to teaching,” Is what the articular on elfpath history. This lead to the original creater of the Meta-intuitive school, Brint, to quit, for the lack of freedom to teach what he wanted. Knoth broke off and convinced Minke to be the head teacher and through her Knoth can dictate what is to be taught. But in a way that is hidden so everyone thinks Minke is in charge. Both Minke and Knoth claim to know how to build a new world the they think it should be. After the shift that took place on October 8 2010. Knoth and Minke said the Brint was selfish for leaving. In refusing in aiding the with the Shift, Brint is sacrificing thousands of peoples lives. Hinting that if Elfpath was not here for the Shift it could be harmful to the world.

B) Cult leaders tend to be determined and domineering and are often described as charismatic

Minke and Knoth can both be described as charismatic and determined. So are the other teachers and students of elfpath. They believe that they are changing the world into a better place where everyone can learn metaphysical and have super powers. Here is an example of how the students view Knoth: “There's this magical pull around him that makes you love him. I'm perfectly straight, and I can tell you, I fell in love with him the moment I met him. This has now evolved to a deep respect and awe for who he is and what he's been through.” - Elfpathblog http://easy-light-fun.blogspot.com/p/angel.html

C. Cult leaders center veneration on themselves

Although the the school's lower teachers teach what the classes intend. The goal is to teach it how Knoth wants them to teach it. When taking class's you are encouraged to talk to Minke and there is a heavy infases on how Minke and Knoth do things in the class. In thous instances no other way of thinking or method is thought is excepted and is strongly frowned upon. Any questions you may have, you are often referred over to Minke. All the emphasis in elfpath is centered on the Guru and head teacher and their view's of what the future should be. In the Intro the metaphysics you learn is Knoths version and how it relates to the shift.

2.The power structure, or relationship among the leader (or leaders) and the followers

A. Cults are authoritarian in structure

Elfpath can be considered a theocracy in that Knoth is someone who knows all. You cannot question elfpath or Knoth's view to the point of disbelief. Doing so will often get you ostracized from the group. Minke is known for singling out students, and going so far as to call them “stupid” for not excepting her views 100%. Knoth gos a step farther and states that the mere act of questioning him is a “Control Drama” and is meant to control and drain energy, comparing it to Rape.

“A man walks up to a woman (usually) and asks, "Do you know what time it is?" or "Can you give me directions to ...?" If the potential victim answers, the attacker asks another more pushy question. This continues until the (now) victim is raped and maybe killed. Rape is a crime of power, not of sex. When you answer their questions, you give them power over you. The best way to avoid most rape scenarios are to recognize when someone is creepy and refuse to give them anything. Refuse to answer.” -Knoth,

Never mind the fact that this is a total fabrication of how rape usually takes place. Rape by a stranger is rare, and 85% rape involves someone well acquainted with the victim and with the goal of getting the victim alone with a false since of security. Not a bunch of questions. Knoth made it so now in elfpath to question ones authority is just as bad as raping someone.

B. Cults appear to be innovative and exclusive

Innovative, for elfpath means that they have found new terms to manipulate cutting edge metaphysical beliefs to fit own goals for the students and their view for a new world. Knoth's world view to be exact. They do clam that a lot of their beliefs come from old shaman beliefs. But the students are taught newer age material rather than old age traditions. They are exclusive in the since that they tell anyone they think is on the 'dark path' or dosent agree to what they believe to leave elfpath.

C.Cults tend to have a double set of ethics •The tail of two panthers
There was a student I knew in Elfpath who was taking the totem course. My friend said that she had found that she had a Panther totem. Everyone had agreed that she did. But Minke said she could not have that totem. She said black panthers were used by evil shamans and that student's panther attacked her. But there was another post from another students journal where the other student also had a black panther, and Minke thought it was fine. Till the student she did not want to have a panther got one. Unfortunately the journal and the post has been deleted by Minke. So among the students there was a double slandered in that, one student was treated better than the other. Both students were in the school for the same amount of time when they discovered their panther totems. And if there was a good reason why the other student was allowed a panther and the other was not. The post would not have been deleted.
•Drama in debating,
The teachers themselves tend to forget to check their own dramas. Its very hard to have a honest debate with, the teachers without them asking to go to 'ground' because they are getting angry every time you make a point they do not agree with. This is still being aloof. But it's okay to use it to defend the elfpath doctrine. Also Knoth's resistants to talk to anyone who has not been in elfpath for a select period of time Is also vary aloof. Minke's aggression towards her students could be considered an aggressive drama. Yet no one calls them out on their drama.

3.The use of a coordinated program of persuasion (which is called thought reform, or, more commonly, brainwashing)

A. Cults tend to be totalistic, or all-encompassing, in controlling their members' behavior and also ideologically totalistic, exhibiting zealotry and extremism in their worldview.

Elfpath oddly enough did this by promising freedom. What the classes teach however slowly shrink your world view in an attempt to take away ones freedom to think critically. Again asking questions has been compared to Rape by Knoth. This could not be farther from the truth. If you disagree with anything Minke says, you are labeled an idiot. Clearly a logical argument in any case, no?Remember L. Ron Hubbard once said, "the best way to enslave anyone is to promise them total freedom." And he did it to. B. Demand for Purity The demand for purity is prevalent in Elfpath. One must cleanse themselves of negative energy and drama. They tell you that drama comes from past traumas and the best way to get red of the drama is to think about the issue that happened and try to drain all the negative feelings or energy away. This is a good for short term fix, but the memory will always be there, so depending on how traumatizing the issues was, a person will always be plagued by the memory, and one will always need to ground and never be totally rid of their said “dramas.” This can be distributive to the person. Instead of dealing with what happened, the person will always need to go to Elfpath for help, leading to more feelings of guilt with ones self, instead of learning to forgive themselves Hey, its all their fault anyway, right.

C. Thought Control

The Control Drama combined with their law of attraction make a perfect thought reform technique. Drama's are thought to students in the free intro course as problems we all have and use to try to gain attention and steel energy. Most dramas have nothing to do with gaining attention but are just a part of your personality. The four dramas are Perpetrator , Interrogator, Aloof, and Poor me. An aloof person might just be an introvert, a poor me might be morning something or feeling hurt and in that case cant help pulling a poor me. Personality here I think is under attack in eflpath if it's not one Minke or Knoth likes. Add to that the Interrogator and questions being a control drama. They make it hard to ask opposing questions restricting freedom of thought and freedom to debate. Their theory of attraction tells you that everything that goes wrong in your life which makes students dependent on elfpath, but also tells you that everything that goes right is also your fault too. Which tends to turn one pompous and arrogant. They tell you it's your fault but do not tell you how to deal with it till you ask them and tack their classes. They have created an environment and stories where no one other then them have the answers and so one is dependent on elfpath for said answers. This is called retention. The drama's are called Undue Influence, or behavior modification. In conclusion Elfpath needs to take a deeper look at itself. If they are what they say they are the constructive criticism would be excepted openly. A cult is not always in it for prophet or perks but the just the power. A cult is manly a pyramid power structure with the leaders at the top and everyone at the bottom. With abuse at the top and the often at the bottom . You should never have to feel guilty about being you.

In researching cults I came to the collective known as Anonymous. Their fight aganst Scientology gave me the idea to speak against Elfpath, and tell the world what it really is trying to be. I talked with them about Elfpath and if I should speak out and they were very accepting of what I was doing. They gave me a lot of advice on whom I should look up. I think I became an Anon (Anonymous), in doing this or at least an Anon wanna be. It's really hard to say with Anonymous. To any of you out there in the same situation, speak up! Even if it is Anonymously. The more we keep these groups in check they wont grow into something really harmful like Scientology. I bet if Anonymous had the choice to go back in time and keep Scientology from forming into what they are today, they would. We can speak up against groups like these before they become really destructive. Information is free, and with the internet It can spread as fast as the speed of light. Look up everything that is being thought and said. In fact anytime a group has to defend themselves before being attacked by saying “we are not a cult” you should ask your self, “Why would you say that?” Think logically. Do not be afraid to ask hard questions and do not be afraid to look for every answer. And remember;

We are all anonymous and..
We are all Legion
We Never Forgive
We Never Forget
Expect Us.

And that is how I observe it.

And that is how I observe it.

Agree. I studied the elfpath intro course a while back and decided not to continue. There were just too many classic signs of abuse evident in my experiences with them. The assumption was that everyone was hurting and massively burdened with issues, those who weren't or showed independent thinking were singled out and attempts were made to break them down.

Elfpath may not be a financialy based cult but I believe it is an emotional/energetic one.

http://www.youtube.com/user/ElfpathSays?blend=2&ob=5
